Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Tappit is built to be simple, and so is this policy. It explains what information the Tappit mobile app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Tappit does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any payment details. There is no account registration. When you play, we store:
- A device identifier — a random ID generated for your device, used to sign you in automatically and keep your progress.
- Your display name and avatar — the nickname and look you choose in the app. Pick anything; it doesn't have to identify you.
- Gameplay data — match results, wins and losses, streaks, best scores, coins, unlocked items, and daily-mission progress.
- Your friend code and friends list — so you can add friends and play together.
- A push notification token — only if you allow notifications, so friends can invite you to matches. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings.
How we use it
- To run the game: matchmaking, live matches, leaderboards, the shop, and friend features.
- To keep your progress tied to your device so you can pick up where you left off.
- To send match invites and game notifications you've opted into.
That's the full list. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data — to anyone, ever.
- We don't show ads or share data with ad networks.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't collect your contacts, location, photos, or microphone audio for any purpose beyond in-game sound features you explicitly use.
Where your data lives
Game data is stored on servers hosted in the European Union. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's notification service and Apple/Google's platform services, which process your push token solely to deliver notifications.
How long we keep it
Your game data is kept while your profile is active. If you want your data deleted, contact us (below) and we will remove your profile and associated gameplay data.
Children
Tappit is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no name, email, or contact details are requested, gameplay is effectively pseudonymous.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
